Metropolitan Police Commissioner Dame Cressida Dick has apologised to athlete Bianca Williams for the “distress” caused by a stop and search and has said the use of handcuffs is under review.
British sprinter Bianca Williams accused cops of treating her boyfriend "like scum, dirt on their shoe" after a stop-and-search on Monday.
The Commonwealth gold medallist sprinter, 26, and her Portuguese sprinter partner Ricardo dos Santos, 25, had been driving home from race training when they were pulled over by cops and handcuffed in front of their three-month-old baby.
And Ms Williams accused Met Police of racial profiling after the incident.
