About DCS Evolution Gas Grills:
-All 304 stainless steel construction.
- The cooking grids are cast stainless steel and feature a unique double sided design. One side has channels that run down each grate, which are designed to carry excess grease down to the trap at that runs along the front of the grill. The second side of the grids are designed for more delicate, less greasy foods. This shape provides wide surface contact, making it easy to grill something like salmon or veggies to perfection.
- To expand your cooking options, DCS Evolution Grills come with a multi level rack system as well as a stainless steel charcoal smoker tray. Ignition of the charcoal is quick and simple using the gas burner beneath.
- With DCS Evolution, you can get a quick char over the coals, then move your food to the upper racks for slow smoking. I even smoked brisket using indirect heat from the charcoal tray.
- When it comes to the gas grilling system, DCS uses ceramic rod tray flame tamer design to effectively distribute the heat from the burners beneath. The ceramic rods are tightly spaced for good heat retention. The ceramics paired with the thick grids and high heat burners of DCS allow you to reach searing temps across any part of the cooking surface.
-Beneath the tamers, you will find DCS’ U shaped stainless steel burners. Each burner is lit by reliable hot surface ignition. Backup ignition is covered as well with Flash tubes that run through the body of the grill. Each burner is rated for 25,000 BTUs of cooking power. Overall, DCS has an impressive temperature range from 300- 1100 degrees.
- DCS Evolution Grills come with a heavy duty rotisserie kit. The side mounted motor features an integrated light for nighttime visibility. The rear infrared of the 36 inch grill is rated for 14,000 BTUS.
- Evolution Series grills have integrated interior and control panel lighting. The interior is illuminated by two downward facing hood mounted lights for a clear view. The control knobs are lit by a white light that turns orange when the gas is engaged. This is a nice safety feature to have in the chance that you forget your grill is on.
