Did you know it´s super easy to stabilize a Hyperlapse in Premiere Pro? Save this reel, follow the steps below and you will be able to create super smooth Hyperlapses! 📸

1. Find a unique point on your subject. Anything with a high contrast works, like the corner of a building, a window , a sign or whatever you can identify.

2. Find a path to follow. Use natural patterns like cobblestone or curbs.

3. Make sure to set your camera to manual mode (Drop a comment if you wan´t to know why manual mode is the way to go for Hyperlapses).

4. Turn on the grid and align one of the intersecting lines with your subjects (try to use some of the centered ones).

5. Take a photo, move one step along your path, align your reference point and repeat at least 100 times.

6. Color grad the photos in Lightroom and export jpgs.

7. Import the photos as „image sequence“ into Premiere Pro and create a new composition.

8. Apply the Warp Stabilizer Effect and play around with smoothness and method settings (I like using perspective and a low percentage between 1-15%).

9. If the video is still shaky, create a new comp from the stabilized one and apply Warp Stabilizer again. Repeat as many times as needed until you like the result and ready is your Hyperlapse!
