Choreographer's message:
The idea of making this choreography came out of nowhere and the decision to film it was spontaneous. This song came out randomly on my iPod's playlist while I was free styling and I thought it might be fun if I could do something for everyone in this festive season. I just want to share my joy I experienced in life with everyone on Christmas.

I know this song sounds a little bit melancholic but still joy can be found. Life to me, is about embracing both side of the equilibrium; of happiness and sadness, of pleasure and pain and of light and dark. Life by no means had ever been easy. We can see it explicitly in the struggle of a homeless person. This is by no means that the wealthy are not facing the same struggle that life offered. The wealthy struggle implicitly, far too complicated and far beyond our capability to see it with our eyes.

So, what is joy? Joy is embracing life, knowing both sides of the equilibrium and it is the feeling of loving them. Joy had never been something found externally. Not through large feasts, not through money and new possession , not through affection from your close ones nor paying a good deed (Please bear in mind I am not saying anything about not giving any affection to people to feel joy nor the fact that we should not do a good deed). In fact, joy emerges from the inside, when we stop seeking gratification externally. Joy is about feeling so alive and appreciating what we already have. And by knowing joy, we could pass it to those who are around us, and they can pass it further to their circle of connections. And that is what Christmas is about for me; Celebrate joy wherever you are, whatever conditions you are in. I pray that if you are stuck 6 feet under, you will get out of it soon and out grow yourself and if you flying sky high in life, I pray that you are able to continue to do so.
