I wanted to make handmade Christmas gifts for my family and figured tie dye socks would be something everyone would enjoy. I was originally going to the use the RIT dye I already had but after doing research, I felt more comfortable using a fiber reactive dye because it will stay vibrant through washes and I didn't want to risk having the dye stain other clothing items.
