The golden rule is: Don't be the first to anchor. This will feel uncomfortable at first especially if you've never tried it but this will improve your negotiation skills. How long you are able to stand your ground and influence the interviewers to disclose the offer must remain your goal. Practise this as often as you can until it stops feeling awkward.
