In partnership with the NYC Department of Health’s Maternal Health Quality Improvement Network (MHQIN), Healthy Start Brooklyn, and the New York Coalition for Doula Access (NYCDA), we’re increasing access to doula care for Black and low-income patients and ensuring doulas have the support, resources, and agency they need to support expecting and new parents.
Our New York Program Director Michelle Zambrano, MPH & Community Health Worker Jennifer Gonzalez presented “Taking Collaborative Action to Ensure Doulas Set the Standards for their Profession” at the 2022 March of Dimes Mom and Baby Action Network summit!
