He says liver diseases can be very silent hence generally diagnosed at a very late stages. Alcohol, hepatitis fatty liver are the common reasons for liver damage. Patient should see a doctor at any suspicion of liver disease.
Alcohol should be avoided. Jaundice, ascites, skin rash, leg swelling are the early signs of liver disease. Loss of appetite, weight ,fatigue, poor memory, dark urine are some of the early symptoms. Diabetes, excess weight, family history of liver diseases are the other risk factors for liver disease.
