A soccer fan was brought to tears after one of her idols signed a shirt and hugged her on Saturday, February 5.
Manchester City super fan Abbie Pinder met midfielder Jack Grealish before City’s 4-1 drubbing of Fulham at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Video recorded by Abbie’s father, William, shows Abbie’s emotional reaction after Grealish signs her shirt and hugs her as he arrives at the stadium.
Speaking to Storyful, William said Grealish sent Abbie a new shirt with a “lovely personalized message” and invited her to an upcoming game as his guest.
“It was my daughter’s dream come true to meet jack Grealish,” he said.
