Walking the old rock walls & exploring the New Hampshire forests in search of history.
These old stone walls go back to the colonial New England days of the 1700s and have stood the test of time. Today we go for a hike to see if we can find any cellar holes that would have been the sites of old homes. Most of these lands had farms and villages that are now long gone and most had been abandoned back in the 1800s. Bring the Garrett ATPRO metal detector we will see if we can find any metal left in the ground from centuries ago. A small footprint in the ground may have been a foundation for a cabin, a small home or who knows what. Either way lets get out and explore.
