Also, this does mean I'm able to get these higher resolution recordings for other things... so... crud.
It took a few hours for my i5 CPU-only laptop to record this with the in-emulator recording feature. Totally worth it.
Program used: PCSX2 1.5 ("-rr" branch for TASing)
Settings:
Bob tff Interlacing,
D3D11,
Billinear Rendering (PS2),
Render Resolution: 3840x4320 (2x Y-value due to Bob ttf side effect),
16x Anisotropic Filtering,
Full Mipmapping,
Full CDC Hacks,
Hardware Hacks enabled: 16x MSAA,
Shader Config: FXAA shader boost.
