The Sanford Magnetics Lead & Rhythm Professional.
Fender Telecaster, showing the Headroom Switch taking it from a more laid back clean to a bit of breakup with some hair on the notes.
The LR Pro is a original circuit design from Sanford Magnetics. Handwired, PtP on turret boards, custom 16 guage steel chassis. Custom Heyboer Transformers. An amplifier designer for dynamics and tone. The short signal path maintains purity and the simple, yet unique controls allow for a wide range of tones.
A new take on a vintage guitar tones. The LR-Pro really does have it's own sound. Not a clone or based on any amp available, this is a new sound.
From stage to studio, the LR-Pro with it's 20 loud watts, covers a lot of tonal ground in a great grab and go package.

Hand built in New Brunswick, Canada.
The cabinet is a Sanford Magnetics Slot Back 1X12" cab. The cab is tuned with a slot port on the rear of the cab for a semi-closed sound. Built with 13 ply baltic birch and houses a UK made G12H-75 Creamback.
This time around with a Fender Telecaster
The tracks were recorded in the showroom of the Sanford Magnetics shop with an SM57 and a Royer R121 mic, into a Roland DuoCapture then into Garageband.
The DAW EQ was bypassed, no sweetening added. The reverb on the track is a JRAD Boing Reverb pedal, just to show how well the amp can handle a reverb pedal directly into the front of the amp.
Any noise on the clip is likely from the lights in the room...This is DIY.
The video was recorded by Jason Jorgensen, then edited in iMovie.
Jock Downs on guitar.
