Lady Falls (aka Culachy Falls) is a little-known waterfall near Fort Augustus in Loch Ness area. It is located in a charming woodland and falls from around 20 meters into shallow pond. We were visiting it in the very hot day of last summer, so it was not in the full flow, but it was still very impressive sight. It is not frequently visited, probably due to the fact it takes around 7km of circular walk to reach it from the centre of Fort Augustus. Moreover it is not very well marked and there is no reliable trail route or map over the internet. There are really two routes. The easier, shorter one starts at the Fort Augustus cemetery. We chose the longer one which starts in the centre of Fort Augustus and leads along the pastures and later through the woodland. Good thing about starting there is that you start and finish close to all amenities of the local touristic hotspot of Fort Augustus which is definitely worth the visit on its own.
