Did you know this in Hazbin Hotel?
Throughout the series we meet hell’s overlords. Since there’s a yearly extermination which has been ongoing for thousands of years, we can tell how strong an overlord is by how old they are. So who is the oldest?
First we have zestial. He’s confirmed to be the oldest living overlord, and he speaks in an Early Modern English dialect, suggesting he is from the 16th or 17th century.
Next we have all the overlords that alastor killed. None of them are named, but we learn that they were in power for many years until alastor showed up and killed them. Alastor arrived in 1933, suggesting they were from atleast the 18th or 19th century. Some resemble scarecrows, some resemble fish and others resemble doctors and models, again alluding to them being old.
Next is carmilla, she doesn’t have an age but we can tell she’s been around for a while based on her personality and wisdom. She is also a good friend of zestial, suggesting she’s been around for a while.
And lastly we have alastor who died in 1933.
Make sure to follow as i’ll discuss the rest in part 2.
