This is how we take care of our teeth. We are supporting National #SmileMonth #GreatBritishBrushathon because looking after our smile is really important.
Brush your teeth last thing at night and on at least one other occasion with a fluoride toothpaste containing at least 1450ppm.
• Cut down on how much sugary food and drink you have, and how often you have them.
• Visit your dentist regularly, as often as they recommend.
Assist tooth-brushing until about seven years of age as by then their coordination will be fully developed and they will be able to brush properly.
Children should be encouraged to do some of the brushing themselves so that they develop tooth-brushing skills. Remember to encourage your child.
