The court of Appeal sitting in Kisumu has upheld the election of Zachary Okoth Obado as the Governor Migori county. Appellate Judge Steven Gatembo agreed with the ruling from the High court that had thrown out the petition filled by former SPORTS minister Ochilo Ayako. The Judge,while dismissing the case awarded cost to the respondent. The judge also ruled that Ayako failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the election was not conducted within the law as the evidence produced was not adequate to warrant a nullification.
