How to calculate plated jersey yarn percentage ll Knit fabric
Plated jersey is one kind of single Jersey derivative. This fabric has two types of yarn . Top yarn and back yarn. Sometimes top yarn 100% cotton and back yarn 100% polyester , top yarn polyester and back yarn cotton, top yarn anyone color and back side yarn another color. Here we are calculating about a plated jersey fabric that has 32/1 cotton and polyester count is 75 Denier. Circular knitting machine yarn feeding rate is (stitch length ÷ count). We need to know individual yarn percentage. For that we calculate like this. Please see the video from first to last.
