Don Nelson had such a great eye for talent as it really helped the Dallas Mavericks franchise. During the '90s, Dallas went through some dark days of basketball. But Don Nelson came in to become the GM and head coach and turned things around as the Mavs were title contenders in the 2000s. Eventually, Dallas won the NBA championship in 2011.
