If you don't know what to visit in Milan, you should stop by Bergamo and its hidden gem, la Città Alta. It's just 50 minutes away by car from the center of Milan! La Città Alta is the medieval part of Bergamo. It's surrounded by Venetian walls built in the 16th Century. Since 2017, those walls have been a UNESCO Heritage Site.
La Città Alta is located on top of a hill. You can reach it by car, bus or with the funicular! 🚃
