Diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot at birth, Naomi James went under open heart surgery at 3 months old. Warned by doctors to never have children, at 25, Naomi found out she was pregnant. After another surgery, Naomi eventually had a tumultuous, but successful birth. She is now expecting her second child. A nurse herself, Naomi is hopeful about medical advancements and encourages women to continuously ask questions about their health. Naomi is a member of the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women 2023 Real Women Class of Survivors.
