Hi everyone, I am sharing how to make tandoori chicken in the oven. The key to tandoori chicken is to use bone-in thighs and legs because they have enough fat to stay moist under the heat. The chicken leg pieces should be skinless. Let the tandoori chicken rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.

TIPS:
1. Please make sure the chicken has no dripping water. Wash and pat dry with kitchen tissue before cutting few deep slashes.
2. Once you remove the chicken from the refrigerator, allow the chicken to return to room temperature before putting it into the oven.
3. Adjust the timing as needed depending on the size of your chicken.
4. The last part after moving the rack to the most top slot, roast until the chicken is lightly charred. For my oven, it takes about 10-15 minutes. The time taken will vary from oven to oven.
