For this year’s LightNight festival in Liverpool, discover a playful side to photography as you join the team at the National Trust’s Hardmans’ House for a virtual visit to the home and photographic studio of renowned Liverpool photographers, E. Chambré and Margaret Hardman. Learn about the life and work of the Hardmans and get a glimpse of the original studio and other interesting rooms in the 1950s time capsule located on Rodney Street. Be inspired by the couple's most experimental photographs from the archive, including their incredible table top scenes. Once you’ve finished watching our video, grab a camera and get creative by capturing something imaginative or even creating your own table top scene. Share it with the world by tagging us on Twitter or Instagram – @NTHardmansHouse – where we’ll be sharing your (and our) photographic experiments. You'll be amazed at what you can create by playing around with a camera, some household objects and your imagination.
