The Urnes Stave Church is a fantastic UNESCO World Heritage Site. There were once nearly a thousand stave churches across Norway, though only a handful of them still remain. Urnes is considered the best example of this style, and it's still in fantastic condition. And it's an epic location too, perched on a hill overlooking the fjords - what a spot!
