In this guided meditation, from Chopra's Meditation 101 series, we will explore what it means to use the ever-present power of your breath to anchor your attention during your meditation practice.
Because breathing is an automatic instinct, it can be easy to take it for granted. This meditation will guide you through bringing your attention only to your breath, to become very aware of the way it feels, and the other sensations in your body related to your breathing.
Throughout the meditation, you'll be asked to gently guide your attention back to your breath if you become distracted. In those moments, do not judge yourself for noticing other things around you. Simple acknowledge them and refocus on your breathing, using it as an anchor.
