The Colorado School of Mines conducts seismic testing of full-scale wooden structures on the Large High-Performance Outdoor Shake Table (LHPOST) located at the University of California San Diego. The six-degree-of-freedom LHPOST was built by MTS Systems Corporation and is a key asset in the Natural Hazards Engineering Research Infrastructure (NHERI) network of experimental facilities.
