NEW 2019 Volkswagen VW T-Cross R-Line SUV Unveiling & World Premiere (Full Presentation | 30 mins)
After months of teasing, the all-new Volkswagen T-Cross has been revealed. Whereas the Wolfsburg-based firm's T-Roc compact crossover has not been released in SA, the local arrival of the T-Cross has been confirmed... VW will make its long-awaited entry into the compact family car market when the T-Cross hits showrooms in the second half of 2019.
The all-new Volkswagen T-Cross SUV has been revealed after months of teaser images and spy photographs. Volkswagen is rapidly expanding its SUV lineup and the firm reckons that by 2025, every second Volkswagen sold will be an SUV. Furthermore, in that same year, Volkswagen will be offering more than 30 SUV models in markets all over the world.
The new Polo-based T-Cross will slot in under the T-Roc SUV, which is not coming to South Africa. Some of the Volkswagen T-Cross' rivals include the Ford EcoSport, Hyundai Creta, Honda HR-V, Nissan Qashqai and Suzuki Vitara. This segment is booming right now and the T-Cross is expected to sell well in our market.
