This Takayuki Iwai Series Santoku knife. Their knives are made with Aogami No.2 Steel and come with a Kurouchi finish. What they care is the 'Quality' and they do all the work by hands so that they can have perfect control to every single knife they make. They don't like mass production, so they don't use time efficient machines because it could save time but it looses its quality. They can't make number of knives but they can make the best knives! This is what this price is for. We are one of the only outside Japan distributors of these impressive knives.
