Derek Morse, 19, and Jacob Allison, 15, have been charged with three counts of first degree murder and one count of attempted first degree murder. Allison's family says there's no way the teens could've committed the crime because both boys were at their home the night of the murders.
His cousins, mother and aunt- all gather outside of his grandparents home in Trenton, GA. For fear of jeopardizing Allison's case, family members couldn't speak with us on camera. But, they spent more than hour sharing their story.
While the 15-year-old student spent much of his time at his grandparent's house, family members tell me he had fallen behind in school- currently in the 8th grade at Lookout Valley Middle.
Allison's grandmother says she knows the other murder suspect, Derek Morse, as Allison's friend. Morse used to drive Jacob to and from school.
The night of the murders family members say that both teens were in this Trenton home until about 8pm. But, Hamilton county investigators are telling a different story. They say the boys somehow made it to a trailer in the Lookout Valley about 20 minutes away.
There, they believe the teens and one other man killed John Lang, Caleb Boozer, and Jon Morris. A 16-year-old was also shot several times, and survived.
Now, family members tell us they're left with more questions than answers.
