The MDHHS Infection Prevention Resource and Assessment Team (IPRAT) is a team of subject matter experts from the Communicable Disease Division.

The learning objectives for this video include how to define bloodborne pathogens, how to identify who is most at risk of injury, to describe how to prevent sharps injuries and other exposures, to discuss infection prevention strategies as they apply to medication administration, and to discuss the employee’s role in preventing exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
