Presenters will discuss and describe the role of psychosocial evaluations in the process of assessing patients as candidates for lung transplantation. Through the presentations, the speakers will share guidelines and recommendations, as well as current methods and practices used by centers around the country. Psychosocial barriers and complications that may occur prior to transplant will be examined and the session will conclude with an overview of the CF Foundation Lung Transplant Initiative.
