The North Manchester, Indiana Post Office is home to a mural by artist Alan Tompkins. The title of the work is: Indiana Farm - Sunday Afternoon and was installed in 1938.

There are over 1200 murals and works of art nation-wide created during President Roosevelt's New Deal. The North Manchester building is only one example from this depression-era moment in history.
