I took an orphaned Speedsream 5100 DSL modem to make a simple computer to radio interface with isolation, almost anything with a phone cord should have a line matching transformer that should work to isolate the radio from the computer sound card, old computer modems, desk phones, fax machines, etc... look around, they are everywhere!
I grabbed the schematic from [ Ссылка ] but using the schematic values my sound card did not seem to have enough signal to trigger the transistor for PTT, lucky my rig has VOX built in.
My first PSK31 transmission was on the 10 meter band 28.120 MHZ with less then 10 watts into a homemade center fed dipole antenna just a few feet off my roof traveled over 1500 miles into Iowa!
Post your homebrew interfaces below in comments!
