Turkey , it's seriously one of the most spectacular countries out there, and everyone knows this, and the entire world loves Turkish culture ❤️. From their friendly and welcoming people to their insanely tasty cuisine to their crazy cool style! (it’s seriously impressive).
But for a long time, Turks have had to deal with a very unique situation, and it’s the fact their country’s name, the word Turkey, in English means… well, a turkey! the bird that makes funny noises. And in my experience, this is something that Turkish people find very annoying, even though it’s funny I know by experience because I come from a country called “Chile” so you can imagine the jokes I hear all the time.
Anyway, The joke is over because from now on Turkey is no longer Turkey, it’s Türkiye, and now we will all need to learn how to pronounce it! So I hope this video is useful, I literally asked tens of Turkish people to teach me, and I put them in this video (is not that easy!)
