Confessing sin isn't about cheap grace or wallowing in shame, it's about receiving forgiveness and walking in freedom. "I confess it, that was wrong. I repent of that sin and I receive the forgiveness that's already been given. It's not some cheap grace that says I can just go sin whenever I want and then just come back and you know, it's all better like my sin is ugly... I'm forgiven. I walk in freedom and your accusations do not hold me in shame".
