You can get these Chinese made Unimat knock off 6 in 1 machine tools on ebay for about $150-$250. I was most interested in the mill, but it was hard to find videos of cutting and cut quality results before I bought it. Here is a video of what you can expect if you buy this for the mini mill tool! It does use a proper milling bit, and the power supply is a 12v 3amp PS, enough for wood (haven't tried metal). My main complaint would be that the leadscrews aren't really that accurate .... but it does work.
