According to Intel, the Gaudi 3 AI accelerator offers 50% better inference and 40% improved power efficiency compared to Nvidia's H100, all at a fraction of the cost.
The chip will be "a lot lower" in price than Nvidia's H100, which starts around $30,000, CNBC reported.
The company stated that Gaudi 3 will be accessible to OEMs, such as Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, and Super Micro Computer, starting in the second quarter of 2024.
