This is an Indepedent review of the Hobie "Baja Heritage" Polarized Sunglasses. This particular pair of Hobbie glasses have a "Shiny Brown" frame and "Copper" lens.
As you will see in this Hobie sunglasses review, they did an amazing job with their sun-glass case (it has a clip so you can clip your protected glasses on things such as your tackle box). It is also a very lightweight and great looking case.
Hobie also surprised us with free Hobie "croakies" to hold your glasses on your head/neck. Brilliant idea and we wish all sunglasses had this as there is nothing more frustrating that having to go buy croakies right after you get a new pair of glasses (when you are dying to wear them out).
The quality of the Hobie glasses was top-notch. These frames were tough, while still light-weight. And they also had rubberized pieces around the nose and the ears for extra sticking traction (great for anyone wearing these for outdoor activities where your head is moving quickly).
Finally, the quality of the lens in terms of polarization was excellent. It was tough to show it with the camera, but these Hobie Polarized lenses eradicated all glare, and left me with an awesome view on the water.
Overall, I was completely surprised (and seriously impressed) by these Hobie sunglasses.
