🎊 Hello everyone welcome to my video,

Does Romans 12:2 teach us to renew our minds?
Paul said that the way believers are transformed is through the renewing of the mind. He says,
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will test and approve what God's will is his good, pleasing and perfect will."

We live in a fallen world that naturally causes worry, anxiety, overthinking, fear and doubt. It is common for many of us to be burdened by these thoughts throughout our lives. Many of us have become so familiar with them they have taken up permanent residence in our minds.

God, however, wants us to be transformed into a new creation. This includes the way we think. It is God's desire to change our troubled minds and restore His peace to them. Despite all that is happening around us, God wants us to be set apart, to think differently, and to find Him to be trustworthy and faithful.

How to Renew the Mind? Philippians give us an idea on how to do this;

Philippians 4:8 gives us instruction on how we can practice changing our minds: "Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise."

We all benefit from the renewed minds in our lives.

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5:22)

It all starts with the thoughts we allow to enter our minds. Our words, actions, and lifestyle will all reflect whatever we allow in it. We can also have its fruit if we are blessed with the Holy Spirit. As we renew our minds, we are taking the first step in walking in the Spirit, and eventually, it will reflect in the way we live our lives.
