Taj Jackson, Taryll Jackson and TJ Jackson respond to frontman of Pulp Jarvis Cocker crashing the stage while their uncle Michael Jackson was performing "Earth Song" at the Brit Awards in London (19 February 1996) and promptly getting arrested. The incident has gone down in history as one of the most controversial musical moments of the 1990s.
“My actions were a form of protest at the way Michael Jackson sees himself as some kind of Christ-like figure with the power of healing,” Cocker would say in a statement shortly after the incident.
