Kintsugi is an ancient Japanese art form in which broken pottery is repaired and the seams are highlighted with gold. Thus, the story of the object’s damage is not hidden, but intentionally emphasized.
In this ancient artistic tradition and philosophy, the object’s brokenness points the way to a new integrated whole, which accepts past losses.
#kintsugi #arttherapy is now well known. It is based on the analogy between repairing an object and repairing one's soul.
The course combines the principles and philosophy of kintsugi and elements of NeuroGraphica. The NeuroKintsugi© technique was created and developed by Irene Martynova.
