1973 Ducati 350 “Yellow” Desmo Restoration (Part 1) - Back to Classics
The single cylinder engine was the basic platform Ducati used between 1955 and 1974. Starting with the Marianna racing bike, it was further developed into many street models. The last incarnation of this engine, in Desmo form, were the 250, 350 and 450 'Yellow' Desmo models of 1973 and 1974. And as we are currently working on a 1973 350 Desmo, we thought to make a series of videos about this bike's background and restoration process. In this first part of the series, Harné discusses how this model came about and what its specifics are.
There is still a lot more to do on this Ducati so stay tuned for more videos. Thanks for watching this episode and see you soon at Back to Classics!
