One of the BEST techniques is to expose your child to many subjects, and then following his lead. Give him lots of basic information and activities in many subjects, and then watch him to see which ones he showed interest in. Obviously, when a child is interested, you don’t have to work hard to motivate him. “Go with the flow”, and let your child learn what he is interested in.
Every skill that is acquired aids in your child’s development.
Expose your child to many activities, and many topics. Watch your child, to see what he is most interested in. If your child shows interest in a certain topic or activity, follow his lead. Provide everything needed in order for your child to study that particular topic. This is definitely the path of least resistance! Your child will enjoy himself, and you will enjoy yourself too.
