(3/30/24) - Dirk competed in a new sport today: AKC Fetch. This was his first run.
Note that after I threw the bumper, he brought it to the box. I realized later, thanks to his Granny pointing this out, that because we’ve been practicing “ball picks” at baseball practice (where Dirk retrieves baseballs sprayed all over a baseball field and drops them in a bucket), he thought he was supposed to drop the bumper in the box. (He puts things away in laundry baskets and toy boxes too.) He looked confused after putting the bumper on the box, because its top was on and the bumper wasn’t going in!
He qualified.
