HEY LIPPIES AND COILIES!!!!
It is the week before thanksgiving and everyone is getting assigned dishes to make and bring. And you have NO IDEA what to bring. Well check out this video for a quick and easy Thanksgiving Dessert that everyone will love. It is so easy a kid can do it….. Don’t believe me, watch the video as my 6 year old baby girl makes it. INGREDIENTS
***********************
* 1 LB Can Sliced Peaches (I used the ones in lite syrup, you can use the one in 100% juice for a healthier option or heavy syrup for a sweater option.
* 1 Stick of Salted Butter
*Ground Cinnamon to taste (you can also do Cinnamon and Nutmeg…we didn’t have any nutmeg lol)
*Sugar to taste
*Yellow Cake Mix or Butter Recipe Cake Mix
* Vanilla Ice Cream
(Please Note the Ingredients are for a 9 inch round if you would like to make a pan just double the ingredients, you really can’t go wrong with this dish. TRUST ME! LOL)
INSTRUCTIONS – I will leave little suggestions in parentheses!

1) Preheat oven to around 370-375
2) Microwave Butter for Approx. 30 seconds or until most of it is melted
3) Pour 1 can of Peaches into 9 inch round pan
(Or 2 can of peaches in a 1/4 size pan (162x265)
4) Taste the peaches and see it they are already sweet enough
(You can skip this step but I recommend it because you don’t want to have really bitter peaches and only add a little sugar or have very sweet peaches and add lots of sugar.
5) Add sugar to taste
(You don’t need it too sweet, because the cake mix will add sweetness as well)
6) Pour half of the Butter into the peaches
(Just eyeball it, if you do more than half its fine)
7) Add cinnamon and Nutmeg to taste
(I do it by smell, if you know peach cobbler you know how it’s supposed to smell. If not I would say add about a ½ teaspoon to a teaspoon of cinnamon and nutmeg.)
8) Pour about half of the Cake mix on top of the Peach mixture
9) Stir with a spoon to slightly mix it, you want the peach juices to mix with the cake mix.
10) Pour the Remaining Butter on top of the Cake Mix (Do not mix the butter in!!!)
11) Put in the oven for approx. 25-30 minutes (Until the crust is brown)
12) Allow to cool for 10 minutes (I know I know I didn’t let mine cool…I was in a rush)
13) Serve on a plate or bowl, add a scoop of ice cream and top with a dash of cinnamon and Voila! LOL!
