The healthcare industry generates lots of data that when analysed, could be used to significantly impact outcomes. At the FT Digital Health Summit Europe, held in London on 16 June 2016, Alexandra Pelletier, Presidential Innovation Fellow, The White House, Washington, DC, explains that although the reality of big data has not been realised yet, new opportunities are being developed to support big data initiatives.
