Peter, returned to his old costume, soon comes across the Rhino and the Shocker, who manage to get the upper hand on him. However, an unknown "ally" arrives and defeats the two villains himself. The new "ally" is Brock, now known as Venom, who has bound to the discarded symbiote and wants revenge on Spider-Man.

Loosely based on The Amazing Spider-Man Issues 300 and 317.
