Pete Blalock has lived in Orange Beach for over 47 years, moving down in 1964 after visiting the area as a child. Pete grew up enjoying crabbing, swimming and skiing on the Alabama Gulf Coast.
Running Lauder's Landing on Cotton Bayou and an A&W root beer stand at the "T" in Gulf Shores early on, prepared Pete to work in retail. Pete Blalock now owns Blalock's Seafood & Speciality Market in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores serving everything from fresh, local seafood; from fresh fish, to fresh Alabama-caught shrimp, to crab.
