Clair de Lune is an iconic piece of music that many of us are drawn too rather before we've got enough technique to fully control end to end. Now of course there is a school of thought that says we should stick to things we can manage, however, I subscribe to the theory that 'a little bit of what you fancy does you good'.
This video looks at some practice tips and ideas of how even we less fantastic pianists can use the skills we have to make that little bit more of those pieces we tackle that little bit too early in our journey. There is lots of half hidden beauty in the piece - especially in the simpler sections. Learning how to make these elements sing elevates the piece significantly.
It also gives some tips of how to better control the trickier sections too which I'm sure you'll find helpful as you work through it.
