In this recording, Fr. Rafail, a disciple of Fr. Sophrony, prays with the prayer of his spiritual father:

"О ALMIGHTY GOD and our FATHER,
Fount of time and eternity,
Who by Thy power hast set a term to our life on earth,
and through Thine only-begotten Son dost grant unto us,
through resurrection immortal life
and a kingdom which cannot be moved —
accept us who implore Thee,
and sustain us by Thy Holy Spirit
as we approach Thy throne on high
deign to accept our praise and thanksgiving...

We beseech Thee, forsake us not;
but as in time of old
Thou didst send down Thy Holy Spirit
on the sacrifices offered by our fathers,
so now, of Thy goodness,
despise not our supplications, nor our worship,

For Thou only art our God and unto Thee we ascribe glory, now, and for ever: world without end."
