Its a common problem with these star treks. The drop center target will not seat properly and multiple hits will register when you hit it. It will also cause your game to pick a mission and fire ball off as soon as you hit start button. Its a easy fix, get two 1/32 or 1/16 washers and slide them in between the coil bracket and black plastic piece. Its an easy 10 minute fix.
